OUR HISTORY
Family-Owned and Operated with Quality
Nestled on almost 300 acres in the Foothills of Morganton, North Carolina, Double C was built with a vision and desire of creating one of the most exquisite show horse facilities on the East coast. Bob and Joyce Cassata purchased the property and began creating our little piece of Heaven in 1996 that we now call Double C.

For over 20 years Double C has shown, bred, and raised Paint and Quarter horses nationally and proudly holds the most APHA (American Paint Horse Association) World Titles in the United States. While we no longer have show horses on the farm, the family still continues to show nationally and raise a few western pleasures and halter babies.

In 2013, the family began utilizing more acreage of the 300 acres to raise Black Angus cattle with the vision of producing and raising Homegrown Beef for the family. Continuing to grow and keeping the Double C standard of quality - we now breed Black Angus with health, quality, and genetics being our top priority - producing 100% grass fed, grain finished, great tasting Farm to Table beef for our customers is our desire and promise to our community.
